Rise of Market Pro: Scaling Success from Humble Beginnings

Market Pro began in 2021 with a modest team of 12 passionate individuals and one visionary client Shufti Pro. Today, it has grown exponentially, boasting over 100 employees and a plethora of diverse clients. Backed by a large collaborative team working in synergy, Market Pro has successfully executed over 1,500 marketing campaigns, attracting more than ten international clients.

Maryam Ehsan dreamed of starting a company after identifying a significant opportunity while working with multiple vendors in her previous marketing team. She realized that relying on one vendor who truly understands business goals and values and empowers in-house marketing teams would be a much more strategic step for her. “Consolidating efforts boosts efficiency and drives success,” she believes. This vision led to the creation of Market Pro.

The journey from a small startup to one of the industry powerhouses stands as a testament to the team’s dedication, innovation, and relentless pursuit of excellence in delivering world-class marketing solutions.

Navigating the Early Storms: Market Pro’s  Challenges

In the early days of the company, a tight-knit team of just 12 people operated out of a modest co-working space called Techhub. With only one international client to their name, the pressure to deliver exceptional results was immense. They faced numerous challenges typical of a budding marketing company.

Limited resources meant they had to be creative and resourceful in their campaigns, often stretching budgets to their absolute limits. “Securing new clients was an uphill battle; many were hesitant to trust a small, unknown agency,” says Umar Waqas, the digital marketing head at Market Pro. Not only that, but the team also struggled with building brand awareness and establishing a solid market presence.

Additionally, the fast-paced nature of the marketing industry required them to constantly stay ahead of trends and technological advancements, often leading to long hours and a steep learning curve. Despite these hurdles, their dedication and passion for innovation laid the foundation for their eventual growth and success.

Driving Change: Market Pro’s Proactive Initiatives for Success

To drive growth, Market Pro undertook several strategic initiatives. Recognizing the importance of a streamlined onboarding process and diversified hiring, they partnered with HR Force. This collaboration improved their recruitment process, which initially relied heavily on LinkedIn but now includes multiple hiring channels.

Market Pro also focused on democratizing its rating system, ensuring transparency and fairness. They incorporated AI tools, such as Midflower, to enhance their social media presence, introducing new initiatives like newsletters and offering free consultations to engage potential clients.

To promote continuous learning and innovation, Market Pro organized workshops, including sessions on utilizing AI effectively. These workshops not only educated their team but also attracted industry attention.

Team building was another critical focus. Activities like movie nights and fun Fridays helped foster a positive and collaborative work environment. To support their employees further, Market Pro introduced advanced salary options, a semi-hybrid work model, and flexible working hours, remote work opportunities thus ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Market Pro also expanded its talent pool by participating in job fairs at prestigious universities like LUMS, UMT, and FC. Additionally, they signed MOUs with organizations such as Knowledge Streams, which provided valuable resources and networking opportunities.

These initiatives collectively propelled Market Pro’s growth, solidifying its position in the market and creating a dynamic, innovative workplace.

Leading with Inclusion: Market Pro’s Empowerment Initiatives for Women

Maryam Ehsan, a strong supporter and advocate of women’s empowerment, has been instrumental in shaping Market Pro’s inclusive culture. Having experienced societal challenges where women’s careers are often undervalued and workplace environments are sometimes hostile, Maryam vowed to create a safe and supportive space for women at Market Pro.

Today, nearly 40% of Market Pro’s workforce comprises women, reflecting their commitment to gender diversity. The company enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for harassment and bullying, ensuring a respectful and secure workplace. Paid maternity leaves are provided, allowing women to balance their professional and personal lives without stress.

Female employees at Market Pro receive equal recognition for their contributions and have ample opportunities to advance their careers.

Women hold strong leadership positions within the company, setting a precedent for future generations. “My team comprises mostly of strong, independent, and fierce women who are balancing their careers and personal lives beautifully; it makes me super proud to be leading so many skilled women at Market Pro”, says Abeera Javaid, the content marketing lead at Market Pro.

These initiatives not only empower women but also enrich the company’s culture, fostering a diverse, dynamic, and innovative environment where every employee can thrive.

Remarkable Growth and Employee Success

Market Pro’s social media initiatives have yielded notable success, with the company’s LinkedIn followers tripling within just eight months. These efforts underline Market Pro’s commitment to leveraging technology and social media to enhance its market presence and engage with a broader audience.Additionally, Market Pro has diversified its clientele and is now a proud marketing partner of big names like Programmers Force, Facia, Shufti Pro, AML Watcher, and The KYB. It now offers services like PPC, Social media marketing, affiliate marketing, content marketing, inbound and outbound marketing, and SEO services.

Looking to the Future Plans: Market Pro’s Vision for 2025

Looking ahead, Market Pro’s CEO Maryam Ehsan envisions global growth and continued innovation. “Our goal is to expand our reach and establish a presence in international markets while ensuring our hiring processes are streamlined and our in-house teams are stronger than ever,” says Maryam. This vision includes enhancing their talent acquisition strategies and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

Umar Waqas, the Chief Digital Marketing Head, aims to broaden MarketPro’s client base and convert leads into long-term clients. “We plan to go beyond our current clientele and focus on turning potential leads into loyal clients, driving sustained growth,” Umar asserts.

Together, their plans emphasize a dual focus on expanding Market Pro’s geographic footprint and improving client acquisition strategies. This combined approach will help Market Pro navigate the complexities of a global market while maintaining its reputation for excellence and innovation in digital marketing. With strong leadership and a clear vision, Market Pro is well-positioned for a prosperous future.
