Shehroz Sameja, also known as ‘Equipment Wala,’ is a dreamer, a go-getter, and a man with a heart of gold. According to Shehroz, a true man loves and cares for children. Shehroz’s journey began with the Edhi Foundation, but his dream of helping children led him to become an entrepreneur.

Shehroz’s compassionate nature, driven by a desire to help others and contribute to his own country and children, led him to develop his own company, solution.com.pk. The company, which was in its infancy in 2018, has now achieved numerous milestones. From providing solutions for emerging soft play area items to supplying sensory hardware materials, the company has taken responsibility for a wide range of products and services.
Career Beginnings at Edhi Foundation
Shehroze started his career in July 2008 at the Edhi Foundation in Karachi, initially as a rescuer and office assistant. His responsibilities ranged from being a call operator to becoming Abdul Sattar Edhi’s junior assistant. He stumbled upon this opportunity while walking the streets of Karachi and noticed a billboard advertising positions for individuals who could read and write Urdu.
Diverse Roles at Edhi Foundation
Shehroze didn’t limit himself to just one role. He worked as a call operator, rescuer, workshop in charge, vehicle maintenance personnel, and even collected DNA samples during his four-year tenure at the Edhi Foundation. According to him, it was at the Edhi Foundation where he found the nurturing and motivation to strive for more. He managed to complete his graduation while dedicating himself to his work at the foundation.
Transition to Kiran Foundation
From the Edhi Foundation, Shehroze transitioned to the Kiran Foundation, where he took on roles as a personal assistant and project manager. His leadership qualities allowed him to manage project budgets, oversee deliveries, and monitor assigned tasks. He appreciated the opportunities to train and mentor others, equipping them with office skills and job duties.
Professional Growth at Walkeaze
In 2016, Shehroze joined Walkeaze as a Sales Trainer and HR Assistant. His responsibilities included inventory management, sales reporting, product distribution, and process improvement. He also played a crucial role in training staff to deliver outstanding customer service. However, he couldn’t shake the feeling that this wasn’t his true calling.
Transition to PCA (Pakistan Center for Autism)
A year later, Shehroze took on a new challenge as an admin manager at PCA (Pakistan Center for Autism). During his three-year tenure, he focused on tracking and budgeting expenses, process enhancement, and facility and skill development. He also managed to single-handedly handle the outsourcing of equipment for a new PCA branch, making remarkable achievements.
Entrepreneurial Venture with Solution.com.pk
Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact, Shehroze established Solution.com.pk. The company specializes in designing equipment for special schools and rehabilitation centers and customizing equipment for children with disabilities.
Future Goals and Expansion
Solution.com.pk is a technology-based company dedicated to providing solutions for institutes and manufacturing therapeutic equipment for special needs children, including those with Autism, ADHD, and Down Syndrome. Shehroze has ambitious plans for the company, aiming to expand its business by 2023 and introduce a new line of holistic furniture. He also plans to collaborate with special schools and leading universities to develop innovative therapeutic equipment by 2024.
